The election is complete. Thank you for your support!
I’m proud to endorse Ryan Novosielski for Co-President of HPAE Local 5094. Ryan is a steady, principled, and deeply committed leader who shows up — not just with words, but with action. He listens, he asks thoughtful questions, and he’s not afraid to challenge management when it matters. His experience, integrity, and long-standing dedication to protecting union members make him exactly the kind of leader we need during challenging times. I trust him to keep fighting the good fight — and to keep all of us informed, empowered, and united.

During my time as a co-worker and union officer with Ryan Novosielski, I found him to be a dedicated member of the union. His diligence and dedication in helping protect members is a credit to his time as an officer. I worked with Ryan for more than a dozen years and during that time he taught me what it means to fight the good fight.

Union involvement, strength, and organization are more important than ever. This is why I am voting for Ryan Novosielski, for union Co-President. Ryan is an incredibly thoughtful, engaging, compassionate, and knowledgeable leader. He understands where we need to be as a local, and how to get there. He does not just talk the talk, but quite literally, walks the walk. Ryan inspired me to become more involved in union activity and empowered me to take initiatives that I had not had the confidence to do before. He takes the time to listen and has the well-being of all members in mind. While he has accomplished remarkable things already, I look forward to his continued leadership. Please join me in voting for Ryan Novosielski, the leader we need, the leader who has proven himself by standing up for us and fighting the good fight. Solidarity.

Hello HPAE 5094! As a previous member of the LEB as the Co-Secretary and then the Treasurer, I've witnessed Ryan's work ethics as Co-president. He advocates for the members and is willing to go toe-to-toe with management and challenge policies that are unfair! Key to his ethics is that he fights relentlessly for the members, he works for you and has my endorsement for Co-president.

Hello Local 5094,
I worked with Ryan for many years during my time as Co-President of our 5094 Local. During those years I watched him grow as a dedicated Union member, then an excellent representative, and finally as the Co-President of 5094.
As a rep he worked tirelessly on the Contract Negotiating Committee fighting for a fair contract. He was never intimidated by the University’s negotiators. I always liked that about him. He handled himself well. When he ran successfully for Co-President the first time, I believed our Local remained in good hands.
He’s serious, making sure the contract language was respected by management. I am happy to endorse him for Co-President as he continues to make certain our members are respected and given fair compensation for their work.
Thank you for this opportunity to support Ryan Novosielski for Co-President of HPAE Local 5094.

Speaking as former president of HPAE Local 5058, Ryan has been a fierce advocate for the needs of Local 5094. Often times members are not privy to the "behind the scenes" work that is required of local leaders. If you knew how hard Ryan fought for you all, there would be no question regarding his reelection. I am proud to have served as both a peer and a friend, and his dogged determination has inspired me in the work I have done for my local.

As Vice-President and now President of the PTLFC-AAUP-AFT (the Adjuncts union at Rutgers), I’ve had the pleasure of working closely with Ryan in the Coalition of Rutgers Unions for a number of years. He is a consistent and steady voice for democratic unionism, and always has the interests of his constituents foremost in his mind. It’s not an easy job to balance the various demands placed on the president of a local, but Ryan remains uncompromising in his advocacy for the interests of 5094 members above all else. I’m confident that he will continue to be an excellent leader for your local.

Greetings HPAE! As the former Child Health Unit Chair on the Local Executive Board (LEB), I would like to express my formal endorsement of Ryan Novosielski as Co-President of Local 5094. During my time with the LEB I could always count on Ryan to take each perspective into consideration and yet make decisions based on the greater good. I have always appreciated his ability to do this. It takes a lot of time, energy, and dedication to be the Co-President and Ryan has been up to the task since he was first elected. I am confident he will continue to lead with these attributes!
